The Name, The History, The Wine

ENO - from the Greek word meaning "Wine"
TECA - from the Greek word meaning "Library"

Combined, the two words refer to the Wine bars common in Italy, where light fare and local wines can be enjoyed in a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. We offer wines from around the world including our own vineyard located in Sonoma, California. Our offerings include over 40 wines by the glass.

Trios Enoteca was founded in 1997 and is located in the heart of Denver's historic lower downtown (LoDo). Our building is known as the Historic Streetcar Stables as it once housed the horses that pulled Denver's "Streetcars," the city's early public transportation system. Constructed in 1882, Streetcar Stables is one of the oldest buildings downtown and has state and national historic designations. The interior features the original heavy timber beams and exposed brick walls. Streetcar Stables was originally renovated in 1994.

Trios Enoteca proudly offers small production wines produced by our owner Brion Wise at B. Wise Vineyards in Sonoma, California. B. Wise Vineyards is a 100 acres wine estate located in the hills outside of the town of Sonoma and has been producing fine wines since 2002. B.Wise Vineyards produces exclusively red wines, in particular Cabernet Sauvignon from both Napa and Sonoma. The Napa Valley Cabernet is called 'BRION' and our Sonoma Valley Cabernet is called 'TRIOS'. These wines are only available here at Trios Enoteca and our sister Wine tasting room, called Sonoma-Enoteca, on the historic plaza in Sonoma. Trios Enoteca offers a wide selection of tapas, appetizers, larger fare, salads, and desserts to compliment our award-winning wine list. Our wine selection features small producers from an array of top-quality growing regions and changes frequently in order to bring you the best, most interesting wines. Salud!
